Join us at the 3rd Annual Catherine Mahaffey East Whatcom Wellness Fair! Free services and resources will be offered by local providers. Event is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Free to attend, the Wellness Fair is named in honor of the late Catherine Mahaffey, a philanthropist deeply invested in the health and well-being of the people in her East Whatcom community. The event brings free and much-needed health services to a region where healthcare is often an hour or more away. Free burrito bowls will be provided by the Common Threads Food Truck. Shuttles from Kendall Elementary School to the East Whatcom Regional Resource Center are available every 15 minutes.

All East Whatcom community members are invited to attend this free event. No insurance is necessary to receive services. People needing transportation or who are interested in receiving basic medical screenings, dental procedures, vision checks, and other services and activities should register online before the event. For accommodations such as ASL interpretation, please send a request to Jessica Bee (jessica_bee@oppco.org). Door-to door transportation is available, so to be picked up and dropped off, please register for the fair by May 9th. Please note that while every effort will be made to support guests accessing care, there is no guarantee of service.
Volunteers are also needed to help with parking, translation, intake, and more.
